PayPal Bitcoin integration for digital goods means Steam can easily accept Bitcoin payments now

They already accept PayPal, so it doesn't seem like it would be much of a stretch to say Steam will accept Bitcoin "soonish". Just thought it would be important to point this out since I've seen a lot of posts about Bitcoin and Steam lately.

Steam is going to start accepting Bitcoin payments soon!

I just got this email from Steam (I'm a publisher there!) What do you guys think?
Bitcoin support coming soon!
We are excited to announce that Steam is going to start accepting payments via bitcoin.
We’re using an external payment provider to process bitcoin payments to help partners reach more customers on Steam. Bitcoin is becoming an increasingly popular online payment method in some countries, and we’re enabling a system that insulates partners from risk and volatility while still providing value to the end customer.
You do not need to take any action. If customers choose to pay via bitcoin, they’ll still be charged the price already set in the local currency. Here’s how it works:
We’re looking forward to the update, and we think it makes Steam an even better place to buy and play games.

Steam, now that bitpay has alternatives to the high fee Bitcoin, can you start accepting crypto payments again?

Bitpay (steam's original payment provider for crypto/bitcoin) has now added the option to pay using Bitcoin Cash, the low-fee fork of Bitcoin. Since steam removed the option to pay with bitcoin due to high fees, maybe they could reconsider it now that the problem is fixed?

Rookie here. Why is Bitcoin trending so high after the steam not accepting it as a payment anymore and why is ethereum dipping?

Not in a panic or anything. Just wondering if someone could explain to me why bitcoin keep surging in price while ethereum drops. Heard the fees are atrocious on BTC and everything but it just keeps going up.

So now that Steam is going to accept bitcoin payments, are any of you going to prefer that over previously available options?

For most regions, Steam accepts widely available payment options such as Visa/Mastercard cards, several brands of prepaid cards, e-cash services etc. I'm wondering if there are any region/use cases for which it'd be more efficient to use bitcoin over payment options that were available on Steam prior to bitcoin.
Edit: I feel like I need to clarify that I'm not asking this to promote bitcoin. I'm just genuinely curious if there are going to be any cases in which it'd be used over existing options.
