Bitcoins are issued and managed without any central authority whatsoever: there is no government, company, or bank in charge of Bitcoin. A large percentage of Bitcoin enthusiasts are libertarians, though people of all political philosophies are welcome.
Don't know if this is a proper sub for this, but wanted to give people a heads up. I used to be a fan of this book. I can't say that anymore. The idea of "provably fair" betting is nice, but OneHash is anything but fair. Every now and then they reject bets with weird reasoning like "the event had already started" even if I'm literally watching the event start 15-20mins after my bet was placed. If that's not bad enough, what really is wrong is what they do with esports bets. In the last few days there has been Pinnacle and DreamHack Malmo CSGO games, due to the same teams playing in both tournaments, some games have to be cancelled. How do they handle this? For example, Cr4zy vs. M1X that was cancelled, was marked as M1X winning, and they took the money. They won't overturn the wrong decision, but they say they're sorry. All the other cancelled games are currently sitting on hold, I have a feeling they will go through too, it's just that sometimes OneHash takes multiple days to confirm the results of games (even when they choose to just make up the results). Any good sportsbook would've refunded all the bets already. One other book i use did so. Avoid this book if you want fair betting.
Hi all, long time Nitrogen user here from the US. Looking for an alternative bitcoin book that isn't Nitrogen to be able to shop around for lines and have a better live betting experience. Cloudbet was my go-to for an alternative book but having to go through the process of VPN each time is becoming more of a drag. I've heard of folks using MyBookie and BetOnline but from the signup process, I'd rather not have to give too much personal information. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
